15% of UK adults are using ChatGPT at least once a month.*
2% are using it daily. With 18-29 year olds almost 3 times as likely to use it compared to adults aged over 50.
It’s too tempting not to use ChatGPT or similar tools in your work life, so employers need to start setting rules and have an AI usage policy. This webinar will explain where the risks are and suggest some best practice strategies for how to build your own employee AI usage policy.
Whilst we welcome attendance from technical staff and data protection officers, this webinar is aimed at HR leaders. Our aim is to break down technical and legal jargon and equip you with the knowledge and confidence you need to be actively involved in designing your own employee AI usage policy.
Here is what this session will cover:
- Understanding the landscape: How are your staff currently using AI in the personal life and whilst at work? Where are the risks?
- Legal considerations: Can you use AI tools and stay the right side of GDPR and other legislation?
- Defining acceptable usage: How to set boundaries and agree a review process to manage risks whilst ensuring you staff stay productive.
- Training and communication: Let’s not assume everyone is a ChatGPT guru. You need to be training all your staff on how and when to use these tools.
- Monitoring and enforcing your new policy: How do you strike the balance between wanting to be seen to be “AI positive” but also expecting your staff to adhere to your policy. Is possible to ethically monitor your employees AI usage at work?
- Planning for the future: How to be an “AI confident” HR leader, who is aware of the current and future trends impacting your organisation.
